I had the same issue; no Dsg available to test drive. Took the chance and ordered one anyway and couldn't be happier. It's a really good drive too and can't say I've experienced much judder either. Hope you enjoy it.

Finally got round to have a test drive today. First in a Cupra 1.8 with the dsg 'box and then in a Leon ST manual with the 2.0 Diesel.

Very impressed with the DSG 'box, nice and smooth at normal speed and nice quick change when pushing on.

Also impressed with the Leon in general, nice feel about the car overall. Build quality appears to be very good, fingers crossed!

Anyway order placed - Leon ST FR technology 1.8tsi with the 7 speed dsg 'box in Nevada white (wifes choose, it's is her car!) , delivery quoted at between 15 to 17 weeks.

Apparently it will have the 18" alloys because SEAT have a supply problem with the 17" but it won't cost anymore for the 'upgrade'. Personally I'd prefer the 17" to have a bit higher profile tyres but can live with the 18".

So a big thank you to all that answered my initial question.

Random question...on the fuel flap of the 1.8 TSI, what fuel grade does it say? Min 95 RON or Min 97? Thanks!
