Dog Mount Super Pro Bushes

Had my OEM arb replaced today due the the collars giving up the ghost so had it replaced with a R32 ARB and Poly Bushes, but as everything always goes was told the the front dog bone bush was knackered wasn't expecting it but hey got the Super Pro bushes for the front and replaced the rear bushes on the mount at the same time then alignment done. As i wasn't expecting to replace the bushes i didn't read up much on the subject, maybe if i did i would of expected the vibration through the steering wheel at idle and the feeling of the car going to stall.

My question is does the vibration settle down and disappear or will it stay?

The bushes do settle down, but only so much. I did this change on my Leon TDI 150 and it was truly awful - but then it would be on a diesel. It did settle down quite a bit, but never to what I felt was smooth enough. I sold the car (not because of this!) before I got around to switching back to OEM. Because of how I use my Toledo, I'd swap you for OEM if you like! Give it some time to settle, but don't expect miracles and don't expect it to disappear.
