Came out to the car today and found a little puddle of water on the passenger mat. Wonder if I have a problem there - will have to check again tomorrow morning.

And, my front near side jacking point cover was hanging off the car. I noticed it had some parcel tape hanging off it so it must have been a problem for the previous owner who ended up just taping it onto the underside of the car.

I tried putting it back on but it didn't seem all that secure. After driving for 10mins or so I noticed some clonking on the passenger side so pulled over to check it out and it had fallen off again (held on by the plastic wire thingy). After trying to re-attach it, it soon fell off, and fed up with dragging it along I had to result to cutting through the wire with my penknife. It was poring with rain, I didn't have any tape to hand and I needed a quick solution as I was running late.

I wonder why I can't get it to stay on (seeing the previous guy also had the same issue) something might be broken. I wonder if the dealer can sort it out at my next service. Until then I'm driving around with a chunk missing from my skirting! Yay.

Hmm. Have you had a looked at the other side and compaired the two? Is anythink snapped?

I will have to take a look as soon as the sun comes back out.

Hope it isn't just me not being able to get it to stay in. lol! (I'm sure it isn't tho, as the last owner had taped it on). Will have to check the cover and the skirting too I guess.

those covers are ridiculously stiff and hard to get on, simply pressing on the under side of the cover doesnt work because the pressure is transferred to the wrong part. to get mine back on i had to underneath wit a small knife and force each of the clips individually after positioning the cover in place.

Well with my 'broken' one it went on flushly, as in it was snug against the body-work, but it too no force at all to take it off. Thing is it looked okay (no borken clips) so I wonder if the body that it connects to is broken...

i found i could just about push one side in with my hand so it looked flush and stayed in place but had to push the other clip up with a knife for my own peace of mind :)
