Door locking rod

Hi there!

Bit of a random one but I am struggling to find a door locking rod.. this one was brittle and snapped whilst changing a door lock.
I can't find them anywhere... only old listings...

Unfortunately the breakers near me don't have the rods (Cupra after 2002 don't have rods). I'm in London and I can't find a car door with rod within less than 100 miles..
Im sure one will pop up soon...other choice is order from Spain but delivery is outrageous.

Could always fab one from the rods you find on electric locking cars. Not entirely sure it's the same thickness (4mm) but if it is then tapping a thread is doable. It's also pretty easy to bend with a vice and basic tools

Thanks for the advice, I will attempt something of the sort for now. Maybe some solder and epoxy can fab this one back together!
