Door Sensor

just wondering if anyone has any info on the door sensors for the interior light. when i open the drivers door the light by the rear view mirror doesn't light. its on the right setting as it works when the other 3 doors are opened. anyone know where the sensor for that is and whether i can fix it myself or not? any info much appreciated. thanks.

I 'think' it could be something to do with a microswitch within the door latch that goes faulty. I have the same problem on my passenger door but it also affects the alarm too.

wel i dont have an alarm on my car but i just want the light working since its the most used door. any idea if i can fix it?

Until you take onboard the above suggestion you are not going to get anywhere with this I'd reckon - you don't need to have an alarm fitted to have these micro switches in the door locks.

Got this problem...(but I don't care if the light doesn't come on!!!) if you do a search on here there a good post about this and it also has the required mirco switches parts from maplins
