Hi all,

Done a search on this but can't really find what I'm asking for.
Connected my JVC double din up in the Leon, I've managed to resolve every problem I had (parking brake error, rear usb through glovebox etc).

However, I simply can't figure out how to get my steering wheel controls working!
I seen a 'steering wheel remote' wire coming out from behind the unit (Pictures below), but can anyone shed some light on how to do this?

Thanks!

You usually need as above another lead. Similar to this.

I got mine from these guys. Double check the years and pics for information on which lead is the correct one for the car and also note which JVC stereo model it is. There is a few different kind of leads etc...

All my steering controls work with the exception of the preset up and down buttons. These do not work on radio or CD/USB for some reason but no big loss.

I'm pretty sure I have, yeah. Everything is working on the unit apart from the steering controls. Not sure if I'm meant to connect that redundant lead to something?

I've already got this mate, it's plugged in.

Ooops pass then :). I got an auto electrics place to fit mine and just ordered all the bits from Dynamic Sounds.

The patch lead goes from the back of the head unit to a small black box on the wiring harness .

Ebay item number 270877434918 has a picture of the box
