And the diagnosis is............ new DV valve being fitted in the morning. But we all new this already. It was a rev c and will be replaced with a rev g.
They do fluctuate but it shouldn't be consistantly in the low 80's. This won't be the cause of the issues though so i wouldn't worry about that for now.
Pull the diverter valve out, chances are its on it's original which is probably a rev c and it could well be split

I'd suggest trying the tests again and turn the A/C off. You never know, but you often hear that the A/C can take a large amount of power out of the engine...
