I have my service/timing belt and mot being done in the next 2 weeks as my Leon has done 89000 miles now. Im expecting the news that the dpf is getting towards the end of its life as according to many people on here they tend to last around 90000 miles. [:@] (wasnt aware of this fact when I bought the car)
So im thinking a dpf delete is the way to go as a new dpf costs around £1200-£1500.
What I really want to know is which company is the best to go with, how much will it roughly cost and is there a company in the south east of England?
Hope someone can help

There is really only 2 options for this

1. Get JBS To do the whole lot (the option i went for)
2.Buy a Milltek DPF Delete from JBS and get Oscarli to do the mapping

Others have tried in the past but because its so complex everybody has given up i know alot on here including me are running the JBS Package and NickP was running the Oscarli one before he sold his car

Thanks for the info, I thought jbs was the only option but doesnt hurt to ask.
How has your car run since it was done as I have heard some people have had issures

Got a problem with either the Flywheel or EGR sticking which is causing a Hesitation but im planning A upgraded clutch and SMF and a EGR Delete

But is it tried and tested? Its easy to remove the DPF itself its getting rid of ALL of the ECU Settings that alot of tuners are having problems with and alot have given up

I Carnt find a thread on there above him removing PD170 DPF's just that he can Chop open CR170 DPF's to Remove their internals

The JBS one cost me £9xx (carnt remember exact figure) and that was more:

1.Milltek DPF Removal Pipe
2.Milltek Twin 76mm Cat-Back Exhaust
3.Custom Code Phase 2 Remap
4.Fitting of all of the above
5.Before and After Rolling Road runs

But that was a special group buy price so you would need to find out how much it is now

I looked at the shark option to and agree with you it sounds like rip out the inside and stick it back together!
I have looked at the jbs site and it looks like i can get:
>Large bore milltek down pipe and de-dpf
>Labour to fit it
>Custom code dpf tuning
>Green cotton filter
All for £777-95
Which sounds pretty good to me
Thanks for your advice

If I was deleting again I would definately buy the milltek downpipe and get Oscarli to remap. You should get it all done for about 650. If you buy the downpipe, a company called Motech will fit and put on the Oscarli map. If you want phone numbers PM me

I plan to wait til a few more have gone through their MOT tests before getting mine done! :)

Thanks Taipan that sounds like a good option.
Sorry I havent replied sooner been away on business all week.
I presume you are running this option any ideas on performance gains and mpg?
Any problems so far?
Where are Motech based?
Their contact details would be great please mate.
