DPF filter light came on after DPF delete

I had a DPF delete done in April/May by a VAG specialist following months of DPF problems. It sorted my problem straight away and gave me a performance boost.

The Leon was in for an MOT and service last week and this evening my DPF warning light has come on. I was driving at about 70mph [B)] for about 10 miles on the motorway at night when the light appeared.

I'm going to phone the garage in the morning that done the service and MOT, but I'd like to gauge the opinion of the forum as to what has happened and caused the light to return.

The car isn't in limp mode and is driving fine.

Any ideas? I can't help but feel the MOT garage have done something that has led to this light returning.

Could be a pressure sensor as the sensor will still be active but failed even though the DPF delete is done, or the other thing I was going to say is it hadn't been done properly

Where is the sensor found is it easy access for a DIY change?

There isn't anything done during an MOT that should cause issues. It's also a while after this was done. ..?
I'd be contacting the dpf delete company.

OK, thanks. I'll give them a call at lunch and see what they say. Do you know much about the pressure sensor mentioned on this thread?

Don't know much of DPF removal on the modern TDI ECUs, but why isn't the pressure sensor removed entirely in the software when the DPF is gutted?

For example say if you have a duff sensor and do a removal will still show a duff sensor, I've know it to be like this on a lot, ideally plug it into vcds and see why it is. Speak to said tuner, may just even need a dtc deleted

My FR went in to the dealer who performed the remap/DPF delete this afternoon. On the way to the garage the DPF warning light went off on the dashboard (typical).

When the mechanic put the car on the machine to check the codes, the only one that was showing up was an "intermittent problem with the airbag". The car is driving fine, so hopefully the light goes off and stays off this time.

I honestly hate all the sensors and checks that modern cars do. By reporting false positives or similar they aren't doing the job that they are designed to do. Rage.
