Drive by wire????

How do i know if my car is drive by wire or not?? Its an import Cupra 2001 on a 'Y' plate??

Just looking at remaps etc and they quote different prices/fiures for the drive by wire and non drive by wire.

Any help??

Its on the engine block on the top leftish, have to take the engine cover off i think. Fairly noticable.

That its an AYP engine type, the number is your engine number i believe.

all UK spec ibizas are dbw...who knows wot they are abroad...theres alot more of em over seas

it was early 1.8Ts in VWs an Audis that were not dbw
