Hi Again!
Ive finished the rear beam axle/suspension overhaul and moved to the front - The car failed MOT for ball joints so have bought them, along with both wishbones (to save me doing the bushes) springs and brake disks/pads.
Once I got into it i noticed the left (short) transmission side CV joint moves in and out a lot more that i was expecting (50mm or so) is this normal? I plan to take it out of the transmission and clean it up/replace the grease at a minimum. maybe the clips gone? There is a non factory jubilee clip on this boot so someones been in there before.
Just wondered what to expect,
The other side moves a bit but nothing like the short side.
