Hi, does anyone know how to fix the problem with driver profiles not staying the same after turning off the engine. I've had mine set up as 'Individual', but even though it says it's the same when I start my car, I can tell that it's reverted to something else - probably 'Normal' mode?

Thanks.

What settings do you change in individual mode? Surely when you go back into it and view the profile settings you can see if they have changed.

Hi, the profile still says it's in individual mode, but I can tell by the way the car is driving. I have the engine set up as sport mode within the individual mode, but when I start the car, even though it says it's in individual mode, the acceleration is sluggish, as in eco or normal mode. I'm sure I've seen in another post, that other people have experienced this.

The engine reverts back to normal mode to stop you ragging it before it's warmed up (safety). Same as if you leave in sport mode the lights stay red but engine is in normal on restart for the same reason. Needs reactivating every time I'm afraid. Found this out on here as had same question....

If this is so, does it mean that you can only change modes when the engine is running and 'warmed up'?
Is this in the handbook and if so, what page is it on?

No you can change it back as soon as you want

Sounds nonsense to me, i do not experience any of the above. When is on sport it stays that way, even after engine shut down...

Note
Not sure if this has changed over the years but from 2016 pdf:

● When the vehicle is switched off it will al- ways store the driving profile that was selec- ted when the ignition key was removed. Nev- ertheless, when the engine is restarted the engine and the gear will not restart in its sportier mode in order to save fuel. For en- gine and gear to revert to a sportier mode, select the corresponding driving profile again on the Easy Connect system screen.

Just read the manual. Whats the point in the setting being 'saved' when you turn off the engine if it's gonna disable it on re-start.
