Evening all! Just a quick question to see if anyone has had a similar problem and can shed

some light...

When i was on the motorway today as i got up to 65-70 mph there was like a droning

whine that was coming from the car. Couldn't quite hear exactly where from!

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I was thinking exhaust or beqarings or

something?

Any help would be appreciated.

check them yourelf mate, jack up the car and spin the wheel, should spin frwwly and be smooth. if you can hear a grinding kind of noise then the bearing is worn. also by grabbing the top and bottom of the wheel and seeing if it moves would be a clear indication lol

Sounds like the old bearings buddy!
Pretty unlikely that they'll check them on an interim service, but like A.m.C says, check them yourself.

Its not a mega expensive fix if it is them. about £15 for the front or around £45 for the rear (per bearing inc. nuts etc.) which then needs labour on top, or not if you fit them yourself.
