I have been dealing with a fast loud metallic clicking noise from the rear right area. It appears only in hot weather.
I tried a lot of things but nothing worked. I thought it might be the trunk struts, so I removed the right one and the noise completely disappeared. I even removed both at one point and the noise was still gone.
I thought something was wrong with the right strut, so I swapped the struts side to side and even replaced them, but the noise still comes back from the right side.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any ideas what this could be or how to fix it?
