Hi all... its been a while since i last logged in (previously had the mk2 leon).

Just after a bit of advice really with the old dsg gearbox (normally a fan although I hate it currently and its putting me off having another in future).

Basically long story short (before I go on this is slating the garage I bought it off they have helped throughout or the garage that has "fixed" it),
- bought leon 1.8 dsg (turns out the dq200 gearbox) back in April (had a short test drive followed their route) no issues,
- picked the car up a week later still never really noticed any issues on the drive home, mainly motorway.
- few days in to ownership it develops a slip in the odd numbered gears mainly and changing up seemed to "ride" the clutch.

- booked it in to get it checked out in May, turns out new clutch packs were needed (excessive wear on them despite the fact I had no warning signs on the dash which I thought was suposed to happen? no issues garage I bought the car from paid for it to be replaced)

- June + July go by not 100% happy with the gear changes still but assume its the wearing in of the clutch / it learning.

- August - notice it starting to "slip" mid gear and again "riding" the clutch when changing gear in manual / sport more than it had been in June/July, normal mode hard to tell as it changes up so quickly.
- Advised to go back to the garage that fixed it who plugged it in, no issues found, took it for a test drive and agreed with the issues I was explaining, he reset the box 4 times and ran through the adaption process, then took me out (me driving) to see if I was happy with it, and it was night and day different and felt how it should.

- role on to today... 1 week since the adaptions... its back to how it was, "slipping" mid gear and "riding" the clutch during the changes in manual/sport and generally starting to feel like the gearbox isnt attached to the car.

So anyone any ideas as to what is up with it? or why it seems to forget what it had previously learnt?
