Hi people, i'm pretty new on here even though i've had my white boc about a year now and love it!

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced something that happened with my DSG the other day and if it is a problem or not cos can't seem to find any info about it.

I pulled out of a junction in drive mode and as it was wet the front wheels spun very slightly, ive done this many times before, however this time the DSG seemed to knock the car out of gear and when putting my foot down it just reved as if it was in neutral?

I managed to roll to the side of the road and checked i hadn't knocked it out or anything and it was still in drive but the digital gear display was flashing? I put it in neutral and park and then back to drive and still flashing display and still not in gear. So turned ignition off and back on and all was fine.

Luckily this happened on a quiet junction!

Any ideas would be much appreciated before i give seat a bell cheers!

Get it checked out, quite possibly couple off fault codes stored. Make the dealer aware so if anything does happen its been recorded.

It did this to me when i pulled out and planted my foot with a bmw m3 behind me and got some wheel spin and was if it went into neutral. it was still in gear and just sat in first i hit the paddles to change up (i was in d not manual but first thing in my mind was its forgetting to change up or got stuck) and it then pulled again. Was strange not done it since but it just seemed to rev and not go anywhere. needless to say i **** myself a bit as i was pulling out onto a main road and m3 had to brake as he was expecting us both to go.

If the lights have flashed up it means there was a fault. Might have just had a bit of a hissy fit but worth checking it out.

No lights flashed on mine, just didn;t shift up and not done it since, but that has been the only niggle i have had with the car so far.
