Hi All, I'm due to get a Cupra 300 this week but i've never driven a DSG before and have some questions.
1. How long does it take for the auto hold to come on when stuck at traffic lights or sitting in traffic? Is there a certain thing you have to do to get this to activate or does it sense you've been stationary and low RPM for a while and activates it? I'm also guessing the brake has to be constantly applied especially when in D.
2. When the auto hold comes on does this disengage the clutch even if your still in D?
3. How do you get auto hold to disengage ? Does releasing your foot off the brake disengage auto hold and then the car starts to move forward or do you need to apply some pressure to the accelerator ? I've heard there can be some lag from the clutch being disengaged and the car begins to jump forward almost like a stall.
4. When stuck in traffic or at lights do most people tend to keep the car in D instead of changing to N?
Thank you.
