to people with aftermarket stereos with poor reception, have a look at this

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=190732044186

after fitting my sub, and connecting to the remote power lead (blue in most cases) i suffered SERIOUS reception problems.

I think somthing happend when i connected off my fakra adapter, because reception was fine before i fitted the sub with a scotch lock.

What yall think

why did you connect off of your fakra adaptor?
you probably will get a poor reception , i didnt connect off of mine and mine is fine.

The remote power cable is connected to the fakra adapter. you must have a switchable power cable to turn amp on and off that is seperate from the 12v feed from the battery.

But what did you connect your fakra to lol? You just need an ignition live cable :)

But yeah my radio reception wasn't too bad, although it would be interesting to see if a dual one makes a difference or not!

In our Leon's pre fl at least we don't have diversity , we only have a single fakra connector ,
I'm wondering if the radio sorts out these signals for is ala diversity ?
