Due A Service Whats Needs To Be Done & Rough Costs?

I have a Seat Leon TDI FR 56 plate. Registered Decemeber 06

What service am I looking for is it the 4th one?

What does this service consist of?

How much roughly am I looking at?

Currently done 34k miles.

Any help please guys.

34k likely to be the minor service around 200 from stealers but thats just a guess (oil change and maybe a top up but thats about it) oh yea err and the usual service check.

Its due its 4th service now this time round. 1st couple of years hardly did any miles in it

Just been shopping around for the 4th service on my 06 2.0 TDi Ref. Sport - so basically the same car minus 30bhp! I tried 3 dealers and a couple of independents. I was surprised how much the dealer prices varied but equally surprised that my usual dealer (Croyde Motors) beat all of them. Got this down to 182 for service. What I have also found is that this engine needs a cambelt change every 4 years or 50K, this is going to cost another 368!! Ouch!

get an indi to do it, and yes the cambelt is also due in the 4th year, make sure you get the waterpump replaced too.

Not a lot seems to be in the service book - Air Filter, Fuel filter, Pollen Filter, Oil & Filter. Brake Fluid also recommended every 2 yrs

Personally, I'm going to get a full service done at an independent. They do more than whats in the manual.
