Dump Valve ????

I have heard that you can only fit recirculating vlaves because atmospheric ones can make the car cut out

is this true ?
any1 got any info that might help me out

It won't cut out. It often causes problems though.

Do a search about it, even for recent posts in Leon MK1 as somone has just had a problem after fitting a non recirc one. Light on dash...etc
