have been racking my brain over the same thing for ages , had bad experience withh 007p before never tried apr r1 or dv30 but i find my standard dv is doing the job just fine , but i keep getting told i need to get 007p

What bad experience did you get? I'm running standard dv at the moment and I'm gonna fit a 007p asap, funds pending.

are you after a jetex cone? if so any of the top 2 on this page is best

Hey Sam, I'm looking at installing the jetex setup soon. As far as I could tell, the only difference between the top two was rubber and chrome finishes.

I noticed the O/D (Top) mm is different between the two, does this make any difference?

Both will be fine as they are rated to 410 bhp.

my 007p with my badger5 tip and jetex cone filter is louder than any split r valve, plus no limp mode so im happy.

He's totally right! You will not be disappointed. Best combo I think

would be interesting to see the flow rate compared with jetex. i know the apexi is a good filter but for the money is it worth it over the jetex. like i said would be interesting if some one ran logs with both filters. i wish jetex did a red filter that would suit my car.

How much is the apexi filter? Did a quick search whilst at work and I couldn’t find any shops selling them.

im going to get the same 'set up' as you sam with the jetex cone, badger5 tip, and the 007p. dunno if i can fit it all myself though, is it difficult?

yh mate my skills include topping up oil and the washer fluid dont kno if i dare do owt incase i mess up ma car

i promise its easy, doesnt take much thinking about, just a bit fiddley. remove air box and maf(2 screws and 1 hose clip).
remove dumpvalve (3 hose clips)
remove tip (sevral hose clips)
then but it all back together but with new parts, its all like for like so its very simple. would take half hour at the very most.

sounds simple. i had a look for the stock dv or where the 007 goes and i couldnt figure it out. hopefully itll all come to mind when i come to fit. i cant understand why red pipes are more expensive just because of the colour. ive ben tryna upload a pic of my car on the site but some reason i cant. will get one up soon though
