I have always thought of these as a bit boy racer, especialy as you hear them racing up and down and to me they just sound stupid, but after reading up on them im quite keen on getting them. My question is can you get ones that dont make much noise if any at all? Silent being best.:)

The std car has a DV already in case you did'nt know. Its a plastic/rubber diaphragm one made by bosch... and prone to failure.

Forge DV007P is the popular upgrade with lifetime warranty.
slightly faster acting, so less between gear lag. Not power enhancing, but complements a remap well.

£82inc vat, available in black or polished finish and comes with fitting clips.
easy DIY fitment.

Got a file of it on here amr file I think... I'll see if I can find somewhere to host an audio file

Turn sound up a bit, and you need Quicktime....

They do but they are a weak point as Bill said above, Forge one is more reliable and responsive.....however you won't hardly any extra sound with the Forge 007.

The extra sound ususally comes from fitting induction kits on these 1.8T cars

If you have quicktime, save the sound to your PC then tell it to use Quicktime to open it.

If you don't have Quicktime, go to google and type Quicktime without i-tunes and download it. Its all free.

Hi
Yes it is right you do get a lovely sound from these but if you fir a decent filter with it.
For the best sound you need a nice CAI with it.
The Carbonios on these with the DV is what you want.
These sound REALLY nice and will not be too excessive so itsounds like the pppssst that you get.
Just a sweet pst
