Sold the car to buy a....
Hello! I've done a search but can't find anything on the topic.

I have tried fitting a DV26 on my friends LC. its a standard car apart from a BMC induction kit. when he Lets off the throttle the turbo stalls the DV is running off the top of the charge pipe. I have tried it on my car and the same problem. It dumps some boost but not all of it.
I have a forge split-r on mine we have tried it on his without any problems.
Does anyone know why it would flutter its like the lower small piston drops too fast when the large piston is still held up.
Confused!!
thanks!

yeh, was maybe thinkin the boost aint high enough to force it open, you tried pushin it with your finger to see if it opens easily?

as i said no knowledge of the bailey ones tho!

if anything its the total opposite.
the dv26 has a spring too weak for a LCR as i asked baileys about this.
The DV26-D has a stonger sring that is suitable for theLCR maybe its the case with the LC

That was what was happening on mine. The bost pressure was too great there fore forcing the valve open an seeping air.
I contacted baileys about it and they replaced my dv26 for the 'D' version free of charge.
but i have since bought a split R but i am planning on experimenting with the dv26 d as bailey garantee that it will work if fitted with a fk99 fitting kit which i believe relocates it at the cold side.

ive got the dv26 d fitted to my LCR with a fk99 fitting kit. works a treat!!! the spring is slighty stronger on the dv26 d . run it on mine for 18 months no probs!!
