Easiest way to see if a full service has been done ?

Hi,

What's the easiest way to check if a full first service has been done ? My Cupra flagged up that it only required an oil service, but as I drive it hard I asked for a full service anyway - wasn't comfortable waiting 18K miles.

Well they have serviced it and charged me the full service price of £179. But in the maintenance log for my car me the only box the mechanic ticked was engine oil swap, and ticked no next to everything else. And the maintenance log paperwork they gave me also only lists an oil swap. But guess what... I have been charged £179 for a full service. My guess is it went into the garage, the mechanic saw it was only really due an oil service so that's all he did.

I don't know a whole lot about cars. What would be the easiest way for me to confirm a full service has or hasn't been done ?

My first service was also 179 on my Cupra. I think it is fixed anyway for every year.

Yeah the price is fine, the problem is all they've put in the log book is a tick next to Oil swap, rather than fixed mileage full service.

they have done the service what was due and you have paid for that service at the correct price too

you dont need a full service yet you are just throwing money away!
