Just used my initiative and searched for the clutch part code on vagcat, and it's come back as being fitted to the Golf & Touran 2.0 TDi (BKD), which gives me confidence that it will fit my Altea 2.0 TDi (BKD) seeing they're the exact same engine/gearbox ;)

Had a look at the existing exhaust on the car when I got home, and noticed that the pipe leading into the back box does not have a join at the same point as the 'new' exhaust......

Closer look at the 'new' exhaust shows that the end of the pipe has been cut.......

So it looks like they have been removed from a car, probably to allow fitment of an aftermarket back box.....

I'm either going to have to get the angle grinder out and chop my exhaust in the correct position, and then use a joiner to join the new exhaust onto the existing pipe.....

Or, take it to a garage and ask them to do it !

Things are never as simple as you first think they will be !!!!

Buy a pipe expander from ebay and then you won't need a joiner pipe as you'll be able to sleeve straight onto your existing (cut) pipe or even buy a short stainless steel section in the right diameter.

Nope

The clutch kit I've bought is a Sachs one, and will only fit a Sachs flywheel..... wwon't know what's fitted to mine until I either take the g'box off, or try and find another way of checking !

From '06 onwards, Seat fitted either Sachs or LUK, but didn't record which VIN's were which !!!!
