For 7.99 I'd say it's a resistor in a box with a couple of fancy connectors on. I'd save your money if I were you.
 
id rather throw my 8 pounds in a hedge.

as said above, its a silly resister that plays around with ur ECU and tricks it into putting more fuel in. (basically puts choke on constant because it thinks the engine is cold) and in time, nackers your engine.
 
i had one on mine more hassel than there worth, ud be beta wiv a cold air feed
 
youll over fuel, and after a couple of starts thats it, complete engine flooding...verdict them resisters cost around 5p each dont get one ever:)
