ebay short shift?

Did mine today, wow its easy to re align the gear linkages, could do it with my eyes closed!!

The only awkward bit was removing the shifter arm off the shifter tower, finally found a use for my small gear puller. I used a bit of m10 rod a couple of nuts to bolt the rod to the shifter arm then 2 nuts in place of a nylock, when i get a nylock i could change.

Result: nice short sporty shift which was completely free (have all the fixings in van from work) but obviously now its a shorter shift its a harder shift, you can notice the difference in effort req to move the stick, not anything overly annoying though.

All in alla very easy mod with instant and nice difference over standard, if i dont like it its just a case of putting the linkage back on standard peg and realign linkage.

You need to get used to it, I love it now. Also my Forge Big Knob helps in the throw.

What and where do u drill with the 10mm ??

Just along from the original mounting pin, the further from the original the smaller the throw 50% seems a good point

Dont go too close to original pin as you need room for the eye to go on, too close and the linkage eye will catch on the original post
