Scanned all the forum posts and can't see a definitive answer.

I read it as red stuff pads are standard oem spec and yellow are uprated ?

What's the life of the pads like ? Good for daily driving and town movement ?

Just want to make sure I make the right choice !

Thanks in advance !

The EBC Redstuff pads are fairly pointless anymore as the Yellowstuff compound has changed and has improved cold bite and as it also withstands higher temperature demands is a superior pad in all regards.

Just my own experience and opinion, I wouldn't fit either. Ds2500s every time.

I have no experience of the EBC pads but I'd definitely recommend Ds2500s. Had them on for a few thousand miles and can't fault them. Wear rate looks okay but a bit early to tell really.

Id prefer to go ebc as I can get a good price on them, arnt yellow too hard for daily driving and eat the discs ?

I've used red stuff on my old 200sx with no trouble. They coped with the nurburgring ok too. They give off hardly any dust too which is great.

Used both Red and Yellow on my VRS, Yellow are so much better, bite from cold and get better as they warm up, seem to be wearing well, got black wheels so don't really notice how much dust they give off.

Thanks Andy,

I've heard that the yellow are better. I'm just worried about them wearing out silly quick and excessively eating the discs.... Probably go for yellow.....

I've had yellow stuff pads before. They are good at biting but they do eat the discs. I've been using DS2500 since and I think these are a better option. Everyone has their own opinion though.
