Dear Formentor Owners,

In couple of review videos I saw that Eco tips are being displayed quite often on main dash, even in Sport/Cupra mode. Can this feature be turned off? I could not find the information about it nowhere. I am interested mostly in VZ spec. Thank you!

If it's like the previous generation infotainment you can turn them off. I take it you've looked through all the settings on the main unit as well as the dash?

You can switch it off in menu, it's buried somewhere. I had these tips coming up on the screen during test drive and they drove me crazy. But when I was done, I went through all options and found where to switch them off.

Thank you. No, I haven't got a chance to play with it live. I went through manual and there was no information. In one of the YouTube reviews on Cupra Leon plug in hybrid, it was said those are untouchable

Someone with the car will have to do this.
In manual, it's page 86: Assist systems and vehicle settings.
Then you have submenu: Interior --> Instrument Panel and link to page 67.
And on page 67 it says Instrument Panel shows "Low consumption driving (eco)"

That's Vehicle Settings Print Screen with menus on the left. Or maybe it's Eco Assit visible here, but I don't think so.

Thank you @Agnes.Surrey - very helpful! If there is anybody who owns the car willing to check it up, that would be fantastic!
Honestly, I can not imagine why this thing wouldn't be switchable, but who know. Or once deactivated would is stay like that or activate with every engine start? (Like lane assist, but I guess this is some sort of regulatory thing forced by EU)

I will post a “how to do” guide up tomorrow. The Eco tips shown in the photo only switch off the coasting feature and some other stuff (confirm tomorrow) but reverts to “on” when the car is restarted. There is a another option in the infotainment settings that switches off eco tips and stays off.

So, as I remembered, it was in Interior settings. I only switched off all assistance helpers on the first screen and then this Eco tips obstructed my dashboard while driving.

I don't know who thought it's a good idea to put tips on dashboard, so you can't see half of it while driving.

I will be switching off Eco assist too. I have eyes and brain to see roudnabouts and other things on the road and can decide myself how to drive.
