Econ Button

Hi all, i took delivery of my 12 plate exeo st se tech a few days ago with 35000 on the clock, got a cracking deal.

However i dont seem to be able to turn the Econ button off on the climate control am i missing something or plainly dont understand it lol.

But the econ button just will not switch off??? Does anyone have any advice lol

Switch the AC on, then the light on the Econ button will go off.

sadly no matter what i do the econ light stays on grrrr

No idea then mate, if I press the Auto button ( either one) in mine, the Econ light goes off, good luck with it.

Hi, I had this problem on my 2010 SE143 ST when it was only 3 months old, dealer sorted, took them a couple of hours and I believe it was a failed sensor in the air con system. Hope you still have some warranty left as I doubt it is a diy fix....Julian

Well Lucky for me i only had the car for a few weeks before i brought it approved used so it has a three yr warranty and has since gone in and been repaired, I was told it was a faulty sensor.

Hi, glad you got it sorted, nearly 5 years on after my failed sensor, and no further problems......Julian
