hi, ive just bought an obd usb cable and got vagcom. but what i really want to do is tune my car! i know i sound like such a noob but to put it simply, Is there anyway i can make my car go faster!!! lol
either using vagcom or any other software!!
i have a 2003 leon 1.6 sx!!

Not quite SSSSTEW, I bought a CD off ebay with loads of little apps for OBDII cables, and one of them was remap files!

Now I wouldn't use them on my car - I left that to REVO - but its possible apparently...

Don't forget, alot tuners just have a laptob and cable - the software is everything to these guys - so get the SW and in theory you can remap your own car. May need a different (better) cable though.

yes correct you can get remap files.

I think i was more going along the lines of its not worth the money or hasstle / risk doing it on a 1.6 for small gains.

Definately not worth it then! especially with a £6.00 CD!
