EGR Delete causing low power?

I've fitted a darkside egr delete pipe and induction filter and now my car is running with what feels like half the power. I've put the old airbox on and the problem continues.
The turbo is there and kicking in but there is no where near full power but also no smoke.
Anyone any ideas what might be up?

You ensured that the boost pipes are all secured correctly?

Removing the EGR should give you a better response on low-end acceleration, not make it worse.

Just had a little think, did you block off the small hole on the top of the EGR delete pipe before installing?

Yea I've got the grub screw in. It sounds like a boost leak from that area when I take it for a run. Just tried to reinstall the egr pipe and lost the allen screw somewhere down the back. Just about had it.

How have you attached the boost pipe to the EGR delete pipe?

You've a vacuum leak probably. Have you reconnected all the vac pipes back up?

The egr vacuum is blocked off with a golf tee and has been for a year. The asv is also but I did forget that initially. I have replaced all the old pipe work and the problem persists. The line to the airbox was also blocked with a golf tee.
Would I still be able to hear the sound of boost leak from the vacuum in the car?

90 silicone bend is attached to the delete pipe with a hose clip

That's your problem I've got egr and had no problems and I would say it picks up better than ever.

Try your old air box plug that suction hose back in and your problems should be over

did your em light come on arfter you fitted your delete?

No because my egr is not sensord to my Ecu like facelift models mine is a 2003 pd 130

mines an 03 tdi sport,but ive been worries if i do the egr delete,my em light will pop up

My original egr is still on I just blank played both side and blocked the hoses

I unblocked the pipe to the airbox earlier realising it releases pressure, plugged it back in and still no good. Unblocked the ASV also but still no good. Don't know what else it could be. The turbo kicks in but never reaches full boost. any other ideas?

Doing a bit of research and is it possible that one of the vacuum lines is causing the issue at Razzario said? I disconnected them from the box and moved them to one side when fitting, potentially damaging them?
The turbo kicks in but never reaches full boost and I can hear what sounds like a boost leak. Could it be air forced out/in the vacuum line causing this noise and my lack of power?
But if it was a vacuum leak then surely when I disconnect the pipes from the black box I would not hear a hiss as the vacuum is released?

When I had a boost leak it was the pipe that goes on top of the intercooler behind the light and finally my turbo went pop!, vaccume and boost leaks and cause real damage so I suggest you either do abit of diggin around and find your problem before it finds you lol

I'm as confident as I can be that it is not a boost leak as I've checked all the pipes. The fact I get partial boost makes me think it is related to the vnt mechanism and doesn't the vacuum line control this?
