I'd say charge pressure control negative deviation is a reference to the lack of control not the fact that its making less boost. Give them vac lines a coat of looking at. You said earlier that when you disconnect the vacuum hose plug that there's no hiss? I'm convinced that the way you have those lines plumbed is the issue. The vnt mechanism seems to be copping a lot of stick over nowt lately on here
 
Do you mean that's you have stripped down the black box?? Plastic doesn't seem to seal that well after takin it apart and priseing on it lol get a new 1 and ill check at what line does what on my car, mines a 53 and boosts quite well
