Looks awesome @Damo H

Sits pretty perfect now!

Can I ask which springs did you go fo?? Pro Kit or Sportlines??

Thanks

Llifon
Sportlines, only eibach kit available for the 4Drive. I was scepticle that they only lowered 15mm on the 4Drive when it’s 25mm on the normal ST. But appears it’s right. :)

Ahh I see!! Looks the business either way! lol

The ProKit for the normal ST only lowers the Cupra 15mm, where as the Sportlines lower it 25mm. I was a little hesitant that 15mm wouldnt be enough, but didnt want to go for the Sportlines due to the firmer ride.

Have you measured the actual drop to confirm its only dropped 15mm?

Off top of my head I don’t know as was having other bits done too (service, top mounts, etc). Think it was 4 hours labour @PP Gareth maybe to help you for sure :)

perfect ride height drop tbh for the Carbon's. glad you went with the sportline offering as i know what to expect when i get round to lowering mine lol!

did you fit new top mounts or these the camber top mounts you have fitted?
and how come you have gone for more camber are you going to track the ST?

It has the 034 motorsport top mounts:

When with them partly for cosmetic reasons, my MINI used to look awesome with camber in front and rear (actually took it off the rear).

Also the outside edge of the tyres on my 280 did get scrubbed down quite quickly, so it’s safe to add some camber. More so with the heavier 4 drive. I was 99% getting them just the cost is quite a lot. The Cupra R had it.

Final nail in the coffin was the ST R coming with extra camber. So thought if it’s good enough for that, it’s good enough for my carbon. So I’ll get some added camber at the rear too.

Just need to leave it a week to make sure it’s all settled, then a wheel alignment and spacers.

I fair enough a lot of money for top mounts that for sure, I’m gonna see what the camber is once it’s lowered at if we have more than -1deg I’m just gonna leave it if not I’ll buy the Cupra R hubs and fit them instead

I've been thinking about this for a long time as my cupra does look like it needs to be lower.

But in regards to handling and ride on a day to day basis, does it make a lot of difference in terms of comfort ?

I have only ever put 60mm lowering springs on a 1.4 clio about 10 years ago and it ruined it, and I really dont want to do that to my 300

They’re not listed yet on here as they’ve only just started selling them. But if you message Ben/Gareth they’ll be able to sort you out.

I am in Finland - my sources have to be different.
It is not viable to order from the UK due to shipping costs, unless the pound really collapses totally ;)

Actually, one question: Aren't the Sportlines meant to be used with uprated shocks?
I have always read that if you keep the OEM shocks you should go with Pro-kit, but then again it is all earsay.

No can’t see anything that says they need to be used with eibach shocks.

I didn't mean used with Eibach shocks but I meant with uprated aftermarket shocks, since the stock ones might start to leak given the extra load.
I have read about this before, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus.
Its the only spring available from EIbach for the 4drive, and only lowers 15mm, so its not a huge drop. In the future I'll get some KW DCC, but for the mean time they're bang on. Just need some spacers now...

Yesterday my Cupra ST got fitted with Eibach Sportline springs. Very happy with the result and feeling of the car.

I know good quality springs do not settle too much or not at all, but any chance the rear is going to “settle” a bit more?
