Eibach Pro-kit or Sportline?

Hi all,

recently purchased a pd170 fr and can't help but thinking she needs to be sitting a bit lower than standard, just wondering what peoples views are on both of the above springs, and their pro's and con's.

Main question is ride comfort.... I'm enjoying the ride at the moment in the fr just not the ride height, have any of yourselves had any regrets?

Regards

Huw

As agreed, the Pro kits are about as stock, the sportline in theory will be a little worse but still nothing too bad.

Sportline kit if you want to go lower :)

The Pro's are probably your best bet, they are different to the standard Sport springs, as apart from lowering the car by about 20mm they are progressive rate springs, so will absorb all the little lumps better and improve the ride.

Sportlines! I put them on my Cupra & found them to have decent comfort, great handling & the car sits how it should of from the factory. I have had 5 people in mine & it still didnt catch on speed bumps

With the Pro's on the FR you won't see a massive amount of difference, in my opinion I'd say go for the Sportlines.

Give me a shout if you need any prices.

Well I had sportlines on my FR and thought they were great for the first few thousand miles then got fed up being so harsh. I then bought some bilstein shocks to go with them which made it worse!
Anyway it looked great on sportlines but now it has been on pro springs for nearly 1 year and I prefer them.
I suppose it depends what you want and what the roads are like round your area.
Heres a pick of it on pro springs.

I loved my sportlines but when it came to winter time they were to crashy but it handled great

Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

I thought the Sportlines were not crashy but bouncy if you know what i mean.

Not harsh but annoying at times and when my back was tired from a 12hr shift they were hard work.
