Hello,

Im just wondering if this is the problem, i was fitting a new LED light into my interior light today but it didnt fit.

I tried it in the boot but it was too small so guessing it is a 32mm one as it wasnt described.

Anyways i think me changing them has blow my fuses as 2 of my 10amp fuse have blown as my interior lights wont come on and my windows dont work :/

So will this be down to the 2 amps that have blow?

Thanks.

If you have blown the fuses how do you expect the circuit to work?

In answer..yes.

That sounded stupid i know i needed the circuit im electronic engineer LOL

what i ment is, is there anything else that could cause this problem?

Cause my tailgate light on my dashboard is flashing aswell? would that be flashing because of the fuse?

PS LEE69 that PDF on your sig is awesome can load it on anything! Thanks.

It's a blck rectangular box about 7" x 5" an inch thick,with 2 x elec connectors on the front.
You'll see it directly under steering column when you remove lower panel.
I would get it Vag Com tested if fuses doesn't sort it first,to see if that gives CCU as problem.

Self taught, experience of these cars for years being a forum member for years.

Generally owning any vag car and not wanting to pay through the teeth for garages to fix little niggles means you get pretty handy with them!
And there are so many of them around that we all get to know the faults and how to fix them. You can rely on VAG to screw the same components/systems up every time.
:-o reliability my arse!

The engines are built like brick toilets though, they go on and on and on and on and on and on.....
Shame about the rest of the bits.

Gotta hate them to love them :D
