Seat Ibiza 2004 1.4 16v bby engine.
yesterday i was driving and i noticed that smoke started coming out from the wires which i have drawn over. i disconnected the connector and the plastic was pretty hot. i did an amp check , i didn't find that the circuit was drawing above fuse current, everything seemed to be fine. is it possible that their is a intermittent short in the heater fan controller ? if wires start to get warm, then is it normal or an indication that the fan motors are starting to draw too much current?
some of the wires which have a green dot on them seem to be electronically controlled earth, the red and white is positive.
