Electrical Whine! FR TDi

When i switch the engine off i am getting what can best be described as an 'electrical whine' noise coming from under the bonnet! It seems to last 30seconds or so!

Is anyone else experiencing this, or know what it might be?

yes probably just some pump etc cooling down the engine. Perfectly normal.

Cheers! thats what i thought it might be , but was after some confirmation!

its like when you open the drivers side door after unlocking something starts whirring in the engine in preperation of you starting it up

Mine makes this noise until the coming home lights turn off, wouldnt worry about it!
