Electrics Problem!

Hi

I posted saying that my electric windows, mirrors, remote key fob, and interior lights had all died.

I had a look at the fuse but as soon as I took the old one out and put it back in, the car seemed OK again and all was working

The next day, the same faults occurred again. Again removing and replacing the fuse fixed this for a while, but I noticed as soon as I replaced the fue the car started making a clicking noise and the interior lights flashed on and off. Pulling the fuse out slightly made it stop, and it is all working at the moment but I know it is only a matter of time before it goes again!

Any ideas what is up?

The car never unlocks properly via remote first thing in the morning, but is usually OK later in the day..... Hmmmm Any ideas what the hell is up with it?

Look for a loose connection on the supply and load ends of the fuse. Give the cables a little tug.

How do I do that? Have I got to start taking the dash to pieces?!

loose connection by the sounds. take the fuse board out (easy, only about 4 screws) and check connections on back of fuse

God I hope so, I REALLY cannot afford for it to be anything expensive at the moment- what with moving house on Tues and having no job at the moment :/

Went out to have a look at the back of the fuse box but couldn't tell what the hell was going on in there and couldn't be bothered to disconnect the battery for a proper poke around. Seat reckon it could be an ECU fault?! I reckon it could be expesive.... Oh well I have a few days off next week so I'll take it in for them to have a look.

I have exactly the same problem! Did you get to the bottom of it?
