ELLISIMO'S MK4 Ibiza TDI - Update

Hi all, i'm new to the forum so i thought i'd share my progress with you all and hopefully get some guidance if i get stuck!

This will be my second car after owning a 1L Polo 6n for just under a year.
This is how i got her looking in that time. I was quite happy with it especailly as Im still a student and make money by delivering for a chinese!

So after having a 1L a 1.9tdi is quite a big jump! And i got the 130 sport too so its very quick im comparison!

This is how she sat on the way home from buying her..

This was the morning after

So then i used some yellow tint i had left over from my polo and put it on my fogs

I then de-badged the rear

I then set about spraying my front badge black. I had no idea how to take the grill off so i just gave up and sprayed it on the car!

all finished but there's glue all over the surrounds for some reason so im going to have to sort that out!

I then de-wipered the rear window as i think it looks so much nicer flush!

While doing that i vinyl wrapped the rear badge black

I then set about fitting some TA Technix coilovers but me and my mate couldnt get the bolts off the front struts so we gave up.. i then went to take them to a garage for them to say they dont know how to fit them so im waiting for another nice day to have attempt no. 2!
So this is how it sits at the minute, major reverse rake!

Then i bought a ebay special 6k HID kit..

Just had a quick clean of the engine bay.. can't wait to get all new pipes tho!

And so this is how she looks, this was taken on the way into ultimate dubs on sunday! You can just make out my LED sidelights too..

So my future plans are:

pressed plated
LED numberplate bulbs
US Spec Indicators
FMIC intercooler
air filter
re-map
BBS Split rims (probably reps)
full exhaust sytem (straight through)
twin exit backbox
colour code the wing mirrors and side strips
black roof
boot build for sub and amp

So ermm.. this happened

I was just casually driving along and heard a massive bang and after a quick look i found my spring had snapped

So the next day i had to get my front coilovers on, so i went to my dads unit, look at all the space i had!

And so this is how she now sits. But after only doing one side it took me 5 hours with the help of seized bots! So i ran out of time because i had to go to work so for a week or so i was driving around with three coilovers on!

I then got bored one day and decided to do my A pillars in suede.

After having LED sidelights and a 6k HID kit i thought my numberplate lights looked abit out of place so i changed them to white LED's. LED on left OEM on right..

Me and my dad then set about putting the last coilover on but couldn't get the strut out for the life of us so we thought screw it and cut the spring in half!

so this is how she sits

I then had a trip up to Birmingham to get these beautys!

Both 8j front and rear! But they sit on the brakes so ive got to get some spacers for clearance!

So after getting spacers and having them on for a few days i had to raise it up 5mm at the front and i roll the arches.
So here comes the heat gun and hammer

And that still didnt solve the problem as it still rubbed but only slightly. So my dad had the idea of grinding the brake calliper down and ditching the spacers. So we gave that a bash and this is how she sat.

I drove onto my drive and felt the back end lift up and saw this!

I then got some Fly Eye and put it on my lights!

I've not posted on here for a while so I thought I'd post an update

I bought a FORGE adjustable strut brace from eBay!

I gave my wheels a really good clean and i love this picture!

I then got some new wing mirrors (colour coded)

After grinding my brakes and seeing them look horrible i painted my callipers red

There was then the first show of MFN down the road from where i live, its a car meet/show that happens every month.
I spent 5 hours cleaning her!

The state my numberplates were in was pretty bad so i finally got some new pressed plates!

I saw this in Westfield car park so I thought I'd park next to it

I then got some BBS center caps

My grills had some glue or something on them where im guessing the previous owner had chrome trims on them so i got some new honeycomb ones

My vinyl had started to peel so i took it off my rear badge

I then went to the scrapyard to see what i could find and i came away with this! mk3 golf splitter

I took my ages to get the front bumper off just so i could get to the lights! But i got there in the end..

After all that i put the splitter on

And at the same time i did US Spec running lights in the indicators

And this is my clearance onto my drive! Just right..
