I often get Emergency and Travel assist warnings. It is very irritating to hear the pling a get the pop up message in the cockpit all the time.
My old car (Volvo V40) did not have any issues with those assistants.

Had the car in for the one year service and they think they found the fault, but need to change the steering wheel.
It will take some weeks to get a new steering wheel, so they will come back to me then.

I think that is how Seat has programmed it, I must turn it off on smaller roads it is really annoying.

I get the warnings randomly, on bigger roads too.
I noticed more often when it is bumpy.

Yes it wants you to have the car exactly in the middle of the lines but that is not how a normal person drives, it’s a really annoying system with extemely bad programming. My other car only corrects when I’m on my way to cross a line not when I drive in a normal way.

I turn it off every time I start the car as it's really annoying and apparently can't be coded to be off by default (only what I was told by the windscreen replacement techs, whom I asked to do it while they calibrated the camera). I've never had a car before that snatches the wheel toward oncoming cars in the middle of a corner, it's like Seat are trying to kill their customers.

Always write what software you have. This is a bit confusing, I have been driving since the purchase on v1803 and never had the feeling that the systems (TA, LA, etc) were over-reaction.
Now I don't know if it's a system issue or the way you drive the car ;)

Are we talking about the same thing here? From the first two posts, I suspect this topic is about the failure of the TA and EA systems, and not the general behavior when it is working. I've had TA and EA fail once and I suspect it was due to the ECU not recognizing the signal from the steering wheel sensors and thus shutting down the systems. Since it happens more often on bumby roads, maybe OP have a loose connection inside the steering wheel, this would also explain why the suggested fix is to replace it. Changing the steering wheel alone will not change the way the lane assist behaves.

BTW, I agree with FalconTech, I'm on version 1788 and I think that the TA/LA systems are generally working very well. Also, I'm pretty sure that, at least in my software version, it is possible to code the LA off as standard, I'm pretty sure I had that before I coded TA.

I think you are right. We are probobly talking about different things.
My warnings for TA and EA indicate that the systems are out of service. They usaully comes back in service after a while.
I get the warning for TA even if it is deactived.
