Emissions Warning light and engine surging

I had the car serviced last Wednesday (2nd year service) all Ok when I drove it home. Start it up today and the icon for the emissions control comes on. Tried restarting it and no luck and also the engine surges at idle which it has never done before, probably linked.

Has anyone suffered a similar problem?

Will be calling the dealership on Monday (service dept closed on Saturday afternoon).

Doesn't sound good, if you have Seat assistance give them a call and get someone out today to look at it.

Also if they recover the car they'll get you a hire car and your own will be fixed quicker by the dealer.
