the induction kit came with the car, seems just to be silicone hosing and some aluminium tubing
just got a piper cross on the end

i know its a 1.4, i ment do you recon you could you put a 2.0 8v induction kit on a 1.4?

is the throttle body different size? im only wondering because they dont really do decent inductions for 1.4 and ide rather pay out for a piercross one or something then a sh!t halfrauds thing....

Its just a Pipercross Venom with an empty Monster can wrapped round it!! Think cheap!
That box is just the cover for the `mushroom` I just use the ties to keep said `shroom` in place, it was saggin a bit. That engine bay keeps the worlds cable tie economy in business!

Yep, again as Crezz says Think Cheap!, just one of those plastic cover kits, The best bit is I didnt even spend any extra on it, I had a load left over from when I had my MR2 many moons ago. Battery cover.....piece of scrap aluminium from the bin at work. I really am a cheap a$$ !!!! Could be a new thread... Best scrapyard mods!!!

I have a similar build to go onto my 1.4. But I have the aluminium pipe longer so that the filter is basically behind the headlights, then I will have a cold air feed going to it.

That reallly is one nice engine bay Dave. Bet it sounds amazing when you are giving it beans.

Thats good to see that the coolant bottle and washer bottle are in the same place with the Golf engine.
