Plenty of remapped LCR's handle 260bhp with ease

I don’t think that’s so much of a problem these days with modem traction control. It could have a system like the old Focus RS that limited the torque in the first two gears.

The way Jordi Gene was chucking that TFSi around Brands, it'll handle it fine.

Seriously though, whenthe 150 Golf came out everyone said it would be "too much", then we had a 180, now a 200, soon to be a 240. It's all to do with chassis design, and vehicle weight and look how far those two have come in recent years.

Heck, if it can't cope with 300+ (hopefully) when remapped I'll enjoy sliding one around
