I have a Seat leon 2.0 tdi ref sport pd140 mk2 on an 07 plate. BKD engine. When i purchased the car it didnt have an engine cover and I am considering buying one if i can pick one up real cheap.

The problem is I dont actually know for certain which one will fit as I keep seeing different variations listed as my model.

Can anyone attach photos of one that will definately fit my model and year.

Hi not all early Leon's had engine cover's. Check with your local dealer. Cheers

Hi, i think that at some point they became optional extras however after all the discussions etc ive seen of people modifying covers I thought someone would know the answer

Any bkd engine cover from either audi, vw or skoda will fit. Search eBay 251385274687.

Mate, is there no cars the same as yours for sale locally? Go and have a look and pretend that you are interested

Or just ring the SEAT part department and give them you VIN. They will be able to help you. They helped me sort out my engine cover, as one of the rubber lugs that they use to keep the engine cover on was missing,

My experience with any seat dealer so far has been terrible from the moment I bought the car from one. I phoned them recently to confirm my turbo number as most suppliers say there are two variants for my car and main dealer should confirm. Seat literally said why would I tell you that just so you can go buy it somewhere else. If you want to know it then buy one from us. When i challenged him he put me on hold then went and laughed about it with his colleagues as I could hear them. After 5 min on hold I hung up.

I have rang 2 SEAT dealers about parts and also a VW garage and they have been spot on.

Try ringing Pulman SEAT in Sunderland and see what they say. Also try Lookers SEAT as well, pretty sure they'll post any parts that you need.

If its the larger bungs then the part number is 036 129 689 B. They are just over £3 each lol. I had to buy 3 also before I sold my cover recently and I'm sure it was over £10.
