Engine management light flash at redline after APR 3.4 map

Hi

I had the 3.4 remap put on my 2009 seat cupra (25k miles) last week, I took the car to red light this morning to test the motor sport rev limit feature and the engine management check light flashed twice then twice again a few seconds later after which it didn't flash anymore.

I repeated the redline test again on my way home and the same issue occurred. The car seems to drive fine without any noticeable lost of power, nor has it gone in to limp mode.

Has anybody else experienced this issue, does anybody have any clue what might have caused it.

Wish it was but it kept flashing after the revs dropped to well under 4-5k

Who did the map for you?, If you pop back im sure they would run a fault code check but could be plugs or a coil pack

Turns out its a misfire due to one of the coil packs. As coil packs seem to be an issue with our model, is there any ungraded options. Ie r8 or rs4 coil pack which is a popular mod on the TFSI audi tt

The R8 coilpacks offer nothing other than being Red.

You can get plasma coils but they are stupidly expensive
