Engine managment light on this morning

Guys and girls.

2 months out of Warranty and my engine management light comes on. I must admit i had to drive through all that snow last night but surly that shouldn't have caused it. Car drives fine no problems at all.
I'll wait until lunch and try it again. Fingers crossed...........

All fixed!!

Well the lights gone off anyway.

Left it a few hours, tried the ignition a few times and the light went out.

Will keep an eye on it though, hopfully it was just the cold playing up a sensor!!

OK light was on again this morning, but as soo as i lift the bonet the light goes off. I'll investigate at the weekend if its the bonet switch thats either wet or dirty!!

Anyone else had this ????

nope sorry though I would try and see if anyone has VAG-COM on the forums near you and test for fault codes.

Its on all the time now, although no power loss in the engine and no over temp!! i feel this is going to cost me when i go tot he dealer!!!!

ask in the VAG-COM request forums if there is someone in your local area that can read the fault code on your car.

It was a fuel temp sensor!! All fixed by the dealer. Professional as usual.. (Cov)
could have done without it though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
