Your probably best phoning up garages and stuff.. Preferable clutch centres or something.. Where are you from?

I garauntee it will just need greasing up on the thrust bearing itself and on the fork.. I think what it does is wobble and rattle, and when its not greased it makes that horrible noise.. When its greased up its silent..

It does it on mine, but its not as bad.. Still noisy though.. I CBA with doing all that work, or spending loads of money on getting it sorted.. It'll get done eventually...

I had the same problem. I had to take gearbox of, and guide sleeve for release bearing broke and made that noise when clutch is depressed. I than noticed that clutch lever is bad and it is not pushing release bearing evenly and that is probably reason why sleeve broke. Replaced them all and no problem since. Parts are cheap, but work may be expensive.

Ok - So got the quote from the garage. Whooping £432 in total. Heres a price break down.....

Clutch Labour - £135
Clutch - £86.55

Replace front breaks Labour - £45
Brake pads - £36.83
Brake Discs - £57.10

The clutch might be a bit difficult for me to do. But I could probably manage to do the discs & pads. That can't be too hard?

Yellonvi-R, I'm starting to think you live here? lol

Thanks for the link. Do you think that's a reasonable labour charge for the clutch?

Just looking around the forums. That labour cost seems very reasonable!

Labour seems cheap tbh! Buy your own clutch mate, take it with you.. Clutches dont cost almost £90..

Brakes can be done in 2 hours max.. Uprated disks off ebay £30, decent pads £25.. Done ;)

and ask about the bootlid handle on a different thread.. Will get more views..

Will do at a later date. Need to get paid before I spend money on silly little things. Was hoping I could just change the badge instead of the hole boot lock.

The dent thing didn't work. Looks like it's creased :(

Tempted to cut the "O" into half and glue it on with strong glue. Can't be arsed with the hassle of taking it all off.
