Engine Problems

Ive been looking for a BWJ engine for my MK2 Cupra, but they are very hard to find or very expensive. If anyone has one for sale then please PM me.

Is there another engine which can replace the engine? but give the same or more BHP without much more work being done. Not really mechanically minded so as much help would be greatful.

I'm in Cheshire, yes it includes the turbo and has covered just less than 55000 miles

Dragging up my old post, but I'm still looking for a BWJ engine.

If anyone knows if there is any other type of engine which will fit with around the same BHP or higher I wouldn't mind. Cars been sat in the garage for over a year now, so really want to get it working again.
