Hi everybody i had a problem few weeks ago.
Everything worked all right but some day i turned my car on and EPC Light on dashboard appear and searched on internet about EPC light. I bought a scanner and this appear:
16955 - Brake Switch (F)
P0571 - 008 - Implausible Signal
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 01101000
Fault Priority: 0
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 255
Mileage: 71793 km
Time Indication: 0

When i scanner the computer i found a problem with brake switch and i notice that brake lights always stay on!!

I replaced the brake switch directly from brake servo.

Im living in a place where i cant find a garage to handle Seat cars :(. somebody have this problem too? o anybody happened this problem?

Hi there, this problem of replacing the brake light switch assembly that is fitted to the brake master cylinder, after having what looks like a typical "brake light switch failure" - and still having this problem, has been reported on this section of this forum at least twice before!

Only problem is, neither of the people reporting this came back to say what finally cured their problem, though I think that there might have been a wiring problem, trapped/cut insulation/cut wire ? Maybe use the search function but try to limit your search to this section of the forum as this general brake light switch problem was common on other versions of this car - and all of them were caused by faulty brake light lights as it was a completely different design and mounted on the brake pedal, good luck and hopefully you will report back when you discover what was causing this!

Wait a minute, you have been on here some time ago with this issue, so you have never ever got it sorted out?

Edit:- like back in November 2016 and you still have this issue??
